FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Do you take insurance?
Currently Marshall is on most panels, but will provide a receipt for to
file with your company for reimbursement. All other clincians are in
the process of applying. Frequently our clients choose to avoid
insurance assistance. We are glad to discuss payment arrangements
at the first visit.
2. What is the fee?
Our fees are very competetive but may vary depending on the clinician
and/or the service provided. Please direct specific questions to your
counselor.
3. Do you pray and/or use the Bible in your counseling?
Everyone is not is the same place with regard to public and/or
private prayer. This subject will be discussed early on and your
desires will be respected.
4. How long have you been doing this?
All of our clincians are veterans. Our experince is varied in many
areas of clinical practice. This information is available upon your
initial visit.
5. Do you attempt to proselyte?
We all individually love our church and recomend it to anyone.
If you have one we do not consider it a goal to get you to change.
If you do not attend a Bible teaching church, We encourage you to
start immediately.
6. When you see couples, do you sometimes see them individually?
If the counseling is couples counseling, the problem is with two
people, therefore, in general, the best counseling environment
is with both present. We do recognize that some may feel more
comfortable discussing somethings alone. Your clinicain will discuss
this with you. In some cases, a particular issue may become so
dominant, and you may receive a recommendation to pursue
individual work in that area.
7. Do your clients get better?
It is common for our clients to leave healthier. Permanent figures
are hard to determine, but, in general, they leave with goals reached.
We receive many of our referrals from former clients.
