Hey there, beautiful souls! Welcome to my little corner of the counseling world – I'm delighted to introduce myself as a novice counselor. I understand how overwhelming life can get, but guess what? there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. I have faith that you have all that you need within to live your most authentic, full and satisfying life. With a warm and open heart, I'm here to be your sounding board and walk alongside you through life's ups and downs

My Mission: As a listening ear, I aim to offer you an environment —like your own sanctuary—where you can show up and unload; freely unpack your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to help you navigate these emotions, discover your inner strengths, patterns and foster awareness to overcome life's challenges.

Whether it's the weight of the present moment, past or future, or wanting to just let go and grow, it is my desire to help. I believe that counseling should be a safe and non-judgmental space, where you can freely express yourself without fear of being misunderstood.

Focus: Together, we'll work on addressing the challenges you face (whatever they may be). My current interest lies within the young adult and adult/elderly populations. I have a special interest in the psychology of second-generation immigrants: those who grew up as children of immigrants, and those who belong to ethnic minority groups. My enthusiasm lies in helping people deal with internalized guilt, low self-esteem, microaggressions, gaslighting, feelings of being a misfit or a black sheep, as well as those coping with loneliness and heartbreak, and overall health and wellness (like nutrition)!

I’m also passionate about Christian counseling – a beautiful pathway to find solace and strength.

Technique: Though I incorporate different styles into sessions, creating an individualized experience for you, I have mostly adopted a person-centered approach. Above all, I'm here to be your non-judgmental ear, your safe space to just let it all out, and to empower you to embrace your true self, discover your strengths, and navigate life's obstacles with empathy. I believe healing is multifaceted and multidirectional, therefore I take a holistic approach: meeting you where you are as the expert of your own story, exploring your journey and partnering on the pathway forward.

For faith-based counseling, it’s no different. My counseling approach is filtered through the lens of my Christian faith and Biblical foundation. We will incorporate spiritual guidance into our sessions as desired. It's essential to me that you feel comfortable exploring all aspects of your life, including your faith, without reservation

Experience: I’ve interned in outpatient community and private-practice settings, that serve diverse ethnicities, religious backgrounds, age groups, socioeconomic statuses, and areas of concern.

Education/Licenses: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) in the State of Texas

B.S. Human Nutrition & Foods, University of Houston

M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling, University of Houston —Victoria

About Me: When I'm not counseling, you can find me enjoying good times with good people. I love seeking out new and fun experiences, whether it's trying out new activities or exploring new places and cultures, and music. And I can't resist indulging in some social media from time to time.

…So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind… - 1 Thessalonians 5
