My Mission: I believe counseling can be beneficial to anyone. I want to grow and learn with my clients as well as facilitate adaptive growth for my clients on their unique journeys. My aim is to develop a partnership that will continue to change and develop as we progress. My Focus: To aid individuals in developing healthy interpersonal relationships, participating in adaptive behaviors, and enhancing self-exploration and self-understanding. I believe becoming aware is the first step, and I want to assist in that process.

My Experience: I have experience working with adolescents, individuals with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities, LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, children of all ages, parents and families. I was a preschool teacher for close to five years, and have been a nanny for many families over the years, and absolutely love working with children and adolescents and with their parents. I have grown with all of the families I have served and I want to continue to grow with the families and individuals I will work with in the future. I have gained extensive knowledge and skill in my graduate program to obtain experience in working with individuals of all ages with various presenting concerns.

My Technique: I want to create an atmosphere for growth and serve as a resource for many on their journey. My theoretical approach consists of a broad array of techniques developed on an individual basis. These can include behavioral techniques, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Adlerian concepts, play therapy and a realistic approach to self-awareness. I have an existential foundation, and aim to encourage individuals to build autonomy and self-understanding as they continue to grow and learn throughout their journeys.

About me: I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Houston, and my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Houston Baptist University. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, trying new restaurants, taking my dogs to the park, crafting, or working out. I love spicy food, I love to travel, and I have way too many pets that I adore.

Areas of Specialty: My passions include working with children and adolescents, parents, caregivers and individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. I see clients ages 2 to adults with all areas of concern.
