My Education:
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in University Studies of Society, Ethics, and Law from Texas A&M University, with minors in Philosophy and Creative Studies. This multidisciplinary background laid a strong foundation for my work in understanding the complexities of human behavior and ethical considerations. I went on to receive my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from West Texas A&M University, where I deepened my expertise in therapeutic practices and mental health support. My education continues to inform my holistic, client-centered approach to therapy.
My Focus:
My focus is on supporting young adults, college students, and girls/women as they navigate life's challenges. I provide guidance on issues such as self-esteem, body image, identity, relationships, and major life transitions, tailoring my approach to each individual's needs. In addition, I work with couples and families to enhance communication, rebuild trust, and deepen connections. At the core of my practice is a commitment to fostering resilience and empowering clients to develop the skills necessary for growth and success.
My Technique:
I use an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from a variety of techniques and modalities to best meet each client’s needs. By combining cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness practices, and person-centered approaches, I work to create lasting change that is rooted in self-awareness and growth. I believe in the power of a collaborative, client-centered approach and tailor each session to address both the practical and emotional aspects of the challenges you may face.
About Me:
I’m someone who values community, growth, and connection—both with others and with the world around me. I’m an Aggie at heart, and that sense of belonging is something I carry with me in everything I do. Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me surrounded by nature, lost in a good book, or spending time with animals. I believe in the power of empathy, understanding, and a balanced approach to life. My goal is to always bring authenticity and care to whatever I’m doing, and to support others in finding their own path to healing and fulfillment.
