Susan Redding, MA, LPC
My Mission: My passion is to serve others, and I strongly believe in the therapeutic process. I offer great patience and a genuine interest in those I serve. Built upon the foundation of a caring and trusting relationship, I believe insight, perspective, and self-awareness is what leads to lasting change. I hope to collaborate with you through both research-based and creative avenues to find the best path to your personal growth.
My Focus: I enjoy serving adults in the individual, couple, and group settings. Much of my training has been in complex trauma, but I also enjoy working with anxiety disorders, self-esteem and identity, addiction recovery, relational problems, or those just looking for support through a transition or to better understand themselves.
My Experience: I have nearly ten years of clinical experience working with adults in individual, couples, and group settings. I have received continual trauma-focused training through the leaders at ISSTD but enjoy working with adults on a wide-range of issues. In my first career, I worked in the fashion industry for a decade managing stores and instilling self-esteem and confidence in men and women through my personal wardrobe consulting business. These deeply personal interactions gave me great joy and were the catalyst in me pursuing a formal therapy career!
